TGIF again.

How are y'all doing? I trust that you all are bouncing in tha Lord! *In my bestest thickest ibgotic accent*

It's friday again, and i'm ready to share my next Home-made facials recipe with those of you who are intrested. Today's facial product is a mask, and this mask helps get rid of wrinkles. It contains Honey (always!), egg yolk, yoghurt and almond oil. I like the fact that these ingredients are easy to get....well, except for the almond oil which i have no idea where you can get that one...unless maybe they can be found in grocery stores *lazily stroking chin*

Oh well........

I suggest you recommend this mask to your mums and aunts to help them keep the wrinkles at bay, because like i mentioned before, this mask is the best remedy to get rid of the unwanted wrinkles on the face. It helps in tightening the skin as well.

INGREDIENTS

- 1 tablespoon pure honey
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ teaspoon almond oil
- 1 tablespoon yogurt

PREPARATION
Pour the ingredients into your blender and blend for 10 to 15 seconds until smooth.
Pour it into a bowl and your honey and egg mask is ready
Apply all over your face, using your fingers.
Let it stay for 15 minutes, then rinse.

WHY HONEY?

Honey

Honestly, i'm thinking of doing a seperate post on honey, because as you can see, honey is usually a major ingredient of all these home-made masks. There are stories that Cleopatra used to bathe herself in milk and honey , and  Poppea, the wife of Nero, used honey and milk as a facial lotion. Today, honey is used as an important skincare ingredient by cosmetic companies in order to help with different skin conditions. Honey has humectant qualities, and therefore protects against wrinkles and dryness.

EGG YOLK?

Egg yolk

Egg yolks actually contain retinoids that help the skin have a youthful glow.  These retinoids are usually the main ingredient in many anti-aging products and one can have them the natural way by applying egg yolks on the face.
Egg yolks also serve to moisturize the skin making them feel soft and smooth.  This is especially applicable to people with very dry skin and those that may be allergic to very harsh chemicals that various products contain.

Now you see how and why a combination of these 2 ingredients serve to eliminate wrinkles?

Apply this mask at least twice per week and enjoy wrinkleless skin.

LAST NOTE: May this new month of March bring you blessings, favor, joy and peace round-about you and yours. HAPPY NEW MONTH!

Abrazos y besos
