The importance of water


Water.

What can we do without water? The importance of water to our health and skin cannot be over-emphasized. Infact, water is one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind. I’m sure we’ve all read and heard of the wonders of this magic liquid and how great it is for our health, and so on…..yet,  most of us don’t consume the recommended minimum amounts for each day.
I’m guilty…very guilty.
I know you’ve heard it many times before, but here again is information about what water can do for you………

FOR YOUR SKIN
Did you know that regular intake of water moisturizes your skin from the inside and promotes the health of your skin? If you want glowing, beautiful skin, chug down a glass of H2O (water).

Lack of water can lead to skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

You know that annoying white line that forms on the lips after a while? Drinking water to keep yourself hydrated prevents that from happening.

Drinking the right amount of water maintains a healthy level of moisture within your skin cells, and if your skin isn’t getting sufficient amount of water, it becomes dry, flaky, tight and wrinkly. But if you keep hydrated, your skin will look younger and healthier.

NOW....MAKE DRINKING WATER FUN!
You can pimp your water by adding a splash of fruit juice to your bottle or glass for added flavor. You can also add a slice of lemon or orange for that zingy kick of flavor. You can even go an extra mile by making juice ice-cubes to add flavor to your water. Perhaps if you do that, it will make you look forward to drinking water. I read somewhere that the best time to drink water is first thing in the morning. I can’t try that…i’ll puke! Maybe if i add juice to it, it will go down better…..now, that’s a thought.
I think we should form a habit of drinking water always. Have a bottle handy always and remember to take small sips.

And oh! Please don’t drink water which you left in your car hours or days before, which has been heated up by the sun and cooled down again….i read an article about it sometime ago saying stuff about dioxin and how it causes cancer. So please avoid such.

Don't wait till you get thirsty before you drink some water, because that would mean that you are already dehydrated. Thirst is your body's way of alerting and letting you know that you are dehydrated.
The adequate intake of water daily for men is roughly 13 cups, and for ladies 9 cups….so drink yourself to healthy, beautiful, glowing skin.

Thank God it’s cheap.
