Random tips || Little Tinko is 'ere!

Howdy ladies, its been a while since i shared random tips here, so i thought to do so today.

These tips would be as random as they come

I might have shared some of them here in the past....not sure....but who's checking?

Okies....here goes......

1). When drawing your brows, avoid filling them in from the very beginning....you don't wanna have 'scouse brows', and when i say 'scouse brows', this is what i mean.

You like? No? I thot so

2). If you happened to fill them in from the beginning, then just take a cotton swab and smudge it clean. If you need moisture, dampen the cotton swab with a piece of baby wipes.

3). Do you want baby-soft, glowing skin? Oya do full-body exfoliation once a week, or at most once in 2 weeks. This is how.......buy your body scrub if you don't already have one, then rub it all over your borry, then put on your exfoliating gloves/mitts and scrub all over. Rinse. Your skin will thank you.

4). For dark under-eye circles, use a concealer to highlight under your eyes, or use a foundation that is one shade lighter than you, then set it with a powder to ensure that it stays in place.

5). Remember that busy eyes don't go with busy lips. If your eyes are busy, then your lips should be mild/nude....and if your lips are busy, match it with mild eyes. This is warra mean....if you have smokey eyes going on, then your lips should be nude. Don't pair your daytime smokey eyes with red lips.....haff you hear it?? *pulls ears for emphasis*

6). When applying your foundation, gradually build it up....too much of it isn't good, you don't wanna look 'cakey'.

So those are all the tips i want to share today.

In other news, Little Tinko is here! Yippie! I'm sure Mama bird can heave a big sigh of relief now that her eggs are safely hatched. I've seen cases where the eggs go bad and the mother bird abandons the eggs and her nest. Tweety and Tinko are doing well as far as i can see, and by the way...*whispers conspirationally* i think Mama bird is a single mum. I have never seen her hubby or boyfie around. If she had any, are they not the ones supposed to bring them food to ensure that she keeps the babies warm and rarely leaves the nest? Did they quarell? Did he dump her? Did she 'fly out' on him (if na human being, i for say 'walk out on him' but na bird...wetin i for talk?) Maybe she's just an independent 'woman' and doesn't need a dude in her life....perhaps the bird who impregnated her was just a donor. Anyway......eeeees not our consign ooo! I placed some pieces of bread on the window sill for her so that she won't need to go out so much.

Thank God for today.

Besos.

Yes I have a post on brows in my archives. Type in 'brows pictorial' in the search box in the top left corner.

I'll still do a clearer pictorial on brows sha. Stay tuned.

    3. My dear, honestly, i'm wary of recommending products for people. My specialty is makeup, and i'm not conversant with most of the products in the stores. I wouldn't want to recommend something for you and your skin will react badly to it. I can only tell you the ones I've tried out which are also good such as St. Ives apricot scrub, MaryKay cleansers and moisturizers, Queen Helene scrubs and masques. You can try out any of these ones I mentioned...I've tried and tested them, and they worked perfectly well for me. I really hope they work for you too.

  5. Chi, U are so funny! Lol...Thanks for the tips. Pls where do you buy ur make-up in Lag? I usually buy it at Tradefair (balogun) in shops like Kuddy and so on cos those 21/ 22/23 road people can be very expensive. But just recommend anyone for me. I'll be in Lag on friday and I can't wait to do a major make-up shopping. I have written down so many products from all ur posts. (Copy copy :-D ) Now, it's the 'where' I need. Thanks.

    1. I have never gone to trade fair for my products, but I heard there are stores where original products are sold there and cheap too! Yes, Festac stores are expensive but I keep going dere instead of trade fair.....na laziness cause am. I don't have power to drive in trade fair traffic. If you can, go to trade fair. I plan to go there one of these days for a mega shopping spree!
