I’ve had this powder since the L’Oreal tea party. It was one of the items in my goody bag. I’ve already reviewed the colossal mascara and kajal here, so today, it’s time to review the clear smooth all-in-one powder.
I’ve used the powder 5 times since then ( yup, i was counting), and now, i think it’s time to share my findings with the lovely readers of this blog.
First things first……let’s talk packaging.
One of the things i like about this powder is the light pink (or is it lilac?) plastic container it comes in. It reminds me of the old Marykay compact powder package. It’s sleek and small enough to fit into a small makeup purse. It has a mirror inside the cover of the case, and the other half is divided into 2 parts….one part for the powder, and the other part for the little white foam to be used for application ( i use my powder brush though).
This powder is really matte and goes a long way in controlling shine. It says on the pack that it :
· Controls shine
· Conceals flaws
· Perfects tone
· SPF 25
Yes, i can tell you for free that it does all it says it would, and it really lasts! I got the shade in 'Nutmeg', and the next look i would share in the next post would be done with this powder just so you can see how it applies. I like how smoothly it glides on my skin when i apply with my powder brush.
The shades it comes in are: Toffee, Caramel, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Mocha, Cocoa/cacao (Toffee being the lightest and Cocoa/cacao the darkest).
My only grouch with this powder is that it won’t last very long if used everyday.
PRICE : N2,000- N2,500 (depending on the seller)
