PRODUCT REVIEW | 'Tunisian Nights' eyeshadow quad palette by Sam Fine, for Fashion Fair.

Hullo lovelies......

Remember that beaurriful goody bag we all got at the BPS event late last year? That massive goody bag *grins*. Sleek Nigeria gave us products, so did Makeup maven and Gifty's Daughter.

Babes....when i opened the Gifty's Daughter goody-bag in the car on my way home, i was blown away! I literally hollered with delight!

A Sam Fine palette!!! And i got the 'Tunisian Nights' too!

Hubby was driving, and he was like 'Hian! Is it makeup that's making you this happy?' I was like "Thou shall not understand".

When the Sam Fine set came out, I planned to get mine.....i really did, but i feared that it was being over-hyped, and i was scared of investing into them and getting disappointed. Then after a while, my longing for the products waned and i found new products to long after. Out of the two palettes in the set, i loved the 'Tunisian Nights' more, and that's why i was so excited to find it in my goody bag.

Thanks again Funke!

Now, on to the review.........

First of all, let me gush about the packaging *bats eyelashes*. This eyeshadow comes in the most gorgeous packaging i've ever seen! Infact, it's beyond gorgeous. It's gold, shiny and classy. As in!!! It also has 2 cute foam applicators inside the palette. Before i eventually used the eyeshadows, i kept on bringing it out of the pack just to stare at it for some time *yes i really did....it's awesome like that!!!*.

The quad has 4 eyeshadow shades Iridescent ice (silver), Shimmering violet (Purple), Shimmering cobalt blue (Blue) and (Matte black) Black. I would describe the silver, purple and blue as jewel-tones. The Iridescent ice isn't as pigmented as the rest, it would just give you a pop of silver wherever you want it.

I always love to have a matte black eyeshadow in my palettes ....i'm sure you know why....so that i can easily do smokey eyes *my favourite look of all time*.

A closer look

I would advice you to use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to apply the colors in this palette 'cos the foam applicator doesn't quite do them justice. Just dip in a brush and pack on the colors. The eyeshadows in this palette are really beautiful, and i still plan to get her sister *The 'Amalfi coast' quad*.

So i created the looks above using the 'Tunisian Nights' quad palette.....you like? I like a lot! This eyeshadow quad palette should expect no mercy from me.....NO MERCY! *evil grin*.
