B 'n D Makeover | Purple vamp

Hey Dolls!

I've missed smoking out my eyes......my best look of all times! Why do i love the smokey look? Let me count the reasons....

It's very versatile....you can wear it as a day look, a night look, a bridal look, a red carpet look, an editorial/fashion look.

It's very classy.

It suits everyone!

However, not everyone knows how to smoke it out well since it's supposed to have the 'smoked out' effect , as in fade out as it gets to the crease. I did a pictorial on how to get it right in the past....if you missed it, click HERE....you shouldn't be caught walking around with a black swipe on your eyelids in the name of smokey eyes....police will arrest you! *LMAO...they really should arrest you*.

So for this look, i used a matte purple eyeshadow from my new Morphe Brushes eyeshadow palette in 35N in my crease and blended the black into it.

See, my brow-bone highlight is popping! Chei!
Speaking of Morphe Brushes eyeshadow palettes, i recieved the 35N from Haute beauty world.... i would still do a review. By the way, have you seen 35B? It is Bae!!!

Ok, i want to digress a little.....there's this song i was sent by a friend on BBM, it's by Tamela Mann, and it's called 'I can only imagine'. Please download and listen to it...it's been on replay since i recieved it *thanks Dr Ella*....amazing track! Before that, i was constantly playing 'Jehovah Shammah' by Nathaniel Bassey and Chioma Jesus...also sent to me by another BBM contact...another beautiful track *thanks Uzo*. I have the best BBM friends.

  3. It looks so nice - I dream of having 'perfect smokey eyes' day in day out but make up is not my strongest point. If wishes were horses..... My new resolution - I will be sleeping and waking up with your smokey eye video. Ha! I must get it right!!

  4. Why do you use Marykay and not any other type of foundation? And can you please do a review of Black Opal True color Pore perfecting foundation? Tnx.

    1. Good question.

I have the easiest skin ever, no break-outs, blackspots, acne or whatever. So I don't have the need to search for the right foundation to give me the perfect coverage.

MaryKay works perfectly well for me, so why would I need to jump from one brand to the other? A lot of people look down on MaryKay foundations but believe me, it's amazing! Not just for me, but most people I know who use the foundation have only good things to say about it. Everytime I wear full makeup to an event, people always ask me what foundation I use and why it looks so perfect.

So that is the reason why I only use MaryKay foundation...it's perfect on my skin, so there!

About the review, no probs. I'll do it.
