PICTORIAL | Full or small lips.....you choose.

Good evening dears

Hope you are all doing good.

Sometime ago, one of my BBM contacts asked me about how to apply lipstick to make the lips fuller or smaller *i can't remember her question clearly, and i can't remember who asked either.....sorry...but i clearly remember telling her that she had inspired me to do a pictorial on the blog for others who want to learn how to work with their lips too*.

So i finally got around to do the pictorial....it was rather rushed, but you would still get it.

B 'n D Makeover | Ice glam

Good morning Dolls......

Have you noticed how a red lipstick instantly changes one's look....giving you an older and more glamorous look? Perhaps, that's why it's a red-carpet favorite. Dark purple lipsticks kinda does the same thing too.

This look i created was one i saw on Tonto Dike's face in a movie. I really liked how the silver (eyes) was paired with the red (lips). A brighter red lipstick was used in the movie, but to create my own version of the look, i decided to go with a dark red *just because it's been a while since i last used my 'Forbidden' lipstain by Sleek Nigeria*.

This look would have looked even more glamorous if i had my hair done....you know the long, full and wavy kind of human hair *sticks out tongue*

Ok, enough of the chit-chat....behold the pictures....

FIX IT! | Broken lipstick

Hey babes!

Let me gist you..... For the past week or so, i've been experiencing 'writer's block'. I would fire on my lappy, stare at my screen for a while, type up some gibberish, delete them all, shut down the laptop and put it away. Everyday, i would perform this same ritual.

If you are on my BB, then you prolly saw my PM this morning which read ''I want to blog today...i really want to blog today but........''. Most of you urged me on to do a post, but most of all Sisi Yemmie's words got me. When i told her that i didn't know where the words had gone, she said ''Those are the days you have to push yourself harrrrder''. So here i am doing a post.....a 'Fix it!' post.

How have you all been doing? Better than me i hope.

Today, i'll be showing you how to fix your broken lipstick. If you have been throwing your broken lipsticks away, then this pictorial would be veeery helpful. Before i begin, i'll have you know that this was a very painful pictorial to do. I kept on burning my fingers *Ouch!*.

I'm usually very careful with my lipsticks, i hardly break or smash them in the tube *Only Mish does that....she'll not let my lipsticks be!*. So in order to do this pictorial, i had to break one of my lipsticks....yes, i intentionally broke it *the things i do for you ladies!*.

Juliet's training in pictures

Hullo beauties..............

Ok, i thought this was worth sharing.

Late last year, Juliet contacted me because she wanted personal makeup training  *yes, i do that too*. Her main concern was her eyebrows...she thought she would never get them right. Infact, those were her very words.

What did i say? I just told her first of all that she needed to change her mindset. Then i assured her that by the time i was through with her, she WOULD get them right. She signed up and we began.

Her training lasted 2 weeks *3 classes per week*, and by the 4th class, she could do a great job all by herself!

What am i even talking? I haff proof! See for yasef.....

And she said she would never get them right!

PRODUCT REVIEW | Tara makeup remover

Hey babes....

Hope you are all doing good.

The first time i bought a bottle of Tara's makeup remover, i ended up giving it away here on the blog. So i ran out to the House of Tara store along Amuwo Odofin to pick up another one *thank goodness there's now a store in my neighbourhood*. I've used it a couple of times, and i think it's time for a review.

If you read my product reviews, you would notice by now that i'm a sucker for unique and attractive packaging. So permit me to gush a 'lil about this beautiful plastic bottle. I just love having in my collection, products that come in nice packaging that is different from what we normally see. This bottle is beautiful and transparent with a black cover *i haven't seen any like it yet*, and i really love it. I like how House of Tara re-packaged most of their products, my favourite is the lipstick ....sleek, black, shiny and very handy.
