This morning, i bring you pictures from the just concluded Beauty Africa Exhibition & Conference. As usual, it was a raving success, and i was glad to have been a part of it.
The Speakers and facilitators were on point, and there were lots of new brands from different countries displaying and exhibiting their products.
There was quite a large number of attendees, and i'm sure they had an unforgettable experience. They gleaned knowledge from the professionals in the industry, asked them questions and got direct answers....that doesn't happen everyday you know.....and for free too!
*WARNING..... this is a picture heavy post*
Lets scroll through the pictures shall we?
Spot Doyin of 'Chloes Makeovers' wearing the black and white polka dots blouse and Adaobi of 'Dobzi Fingers' with the red shawl and the big smile.
Fatima Mamza started by showing us how to achieve a simple Nigerian bridal look. Her model was so beautiful...infact, there was a selection of very beautiful models for the demonstrations.
Fatima Mamza with the very beautiful body. I was so green with envy! loooool!
Spot our logo on the backdrop
See shape!!!! Wonderful!

And there was a Nail Art competition going on behind the hall....powered by Nectar Beauty Academy.

The BathKandy stand is one stand i wont forget in a hurry...why? The smells that came from there was simply divine! With very natural ingredients, they make dessert-inspired bath and body products which are made to look and smell like desserts. Some of their soaps look like cupcakes....no kidding! You know what? Follow them on Instagram....@bathkandy.
I bought an exfoliating bar from them that is made of garri...seriously, no kidding! And it smells heavenly I would do a review on it very soon.
The smells from the BathKandy stand was amazing!
The Ajali stand is another stand i couldn't leave without picking up something. I've always wanted one of their Sugar body polishes, so i got the one in 'Peppermint'. Review coming soon as well.
Oh, and that's Ifeyinwa, the owner of the company behind the stand.
Jide of St.Ola showed us how to achieve a fresh-faced look. Dude's got great skills! We learned a lot from him.....i learnt something new.
Next was Marco Louis to show us International trends in makeup. He did a futuristic-massai look on his model, and somehow, i don't have a picture of the finished look....i'm so pained about that.
He was very warm and funny....kept talking about how he's going to marry Tope one day. Loool! Tope is his colleague.
You see me? That's why i use to pass exam.
Ok, not really.......i was updating my IG page

Day 2 started off with a beauty business forum. The topic was 'A focus on brand building, digital influencers & marketing strategies'. The moderator was Ezinne Alpha *Beauty in Lagos*.

Banke Meshida Lawal showing us how to create the authentic Nigerian look. The finished look was amazing, but somehow, i don't have a picture of it either *groans*.

My darling Bimpe Onakoya was there to show us how to create a classic midcentury glamour look with a modern twist. I learned a lot from this lady right here....and she was the crowd's favourite! She was very warm and engaging and she made us laugh very often.
Oh, and she looks really good for someone that just gave birth to triplets doesn't she?
Finally, Lola Maja and her team demostrated creative SFX looks. Lola herself had a very interesting makeup on her face....very zombie-looking face like that.

I couldn't attend the day 3 of the event because i had other plans, so these are pictures from day 1 and day 2.
Thanks to the organizers of Beauty Africa for bringing an event such as this to us, and thank you for making me a part of it.
Let's do it again next year by God's grace
