PRODUCT REVIEW | Sacha Buttercup Setting Powder

'Ellooooow

We got back home about 2 hours ago from our swimming lessons. You won't believe that i actually registered the kids for the lessons in August last year....they had just 5 classes and then i got veeeery busy, so we had to put the lessons on hold. Today, i called the instructor and told him that we would like to resume and he asked us to come ......so we went, and we just got back. Biko, 45k can't just waste like that. Now, we have 8 classes to go. If you follow me on Snapchat, you would have seen what we were up to at the pool. My snap is :  Blushes.dimples

I came back longing to resume my reading *i'm reading the Mark Of the Lion Trilogy for the 4th time....I'm halfway done with the first book in the series....it's titled  'A Voice In The Wind*, but how can i resume reading when i've been putting this blog post off since yesterday? So, i've decided to blog first and read later.

I mentioned sometime ago that i was going to buy the Sacha Buttercup Setting powder that did not let us 'hearing' word in the beauty world. Youtube was agog with it. Everybody had it. Everyone reviewed it. They all had good things to say, but i didn't want to just take their word for it.....i had to see for myself, and so i went out and purchased it.

Here it is below......

See ehn, no too much talk involved here.

Are the reviews we've read accurate? YES!

Is the Sacha Buttercup Setting Powder good? It's EXCELLENT!

Which one should you buy between the Ben Nye Banana Powder and the Sacha Buttercup Setting Powder? If you don't have the Ben Nye already, just buy the Sacha 'somebody'. It's much better!

PICTORIAL | Moonshine

I apologize for not having the time to post this pictorial when i said i would. I've had a lot of things going on at once. Being a mum IS a full time job i tell you.....there are no days off, and you can't afford to slack....at all!

Ok, so here is the pictorial, and as you know, pictorial posts are usually loaded with pictures which i took the pains of snapping step-by-step. If you noticed, my pictorials have become more detailed because i began including pictures of the products and tools i use so that it's all clear to you.

B 'n D Makeover | Diva

Helluuuur again....

I don't usually do two posts a day, but i have to make an exception in this case because i already promised my IG followers yesterday that this look is going up today. *even though i was supposed to post the 'Moonshine' pictorial which a lot of you requested for on BBM....don't worry......it will be up by tomorrow evening*

So, this look is named after the lipstick i used which is the M.A.C lipstick in 'Diva'.

Don't you just love my lashes?

I used all matte eyeshadows on my eye lids....Orange and browns. Infact, maybe i should just type out how i achieved this look step-by-step because there won't be a pictorial for this one.

Oya, let's go...

PRODUCT REVIEW | Colourpop super shock eyeshadow in 'Moonshine'

Helluuuuurrrrr.....

I bring to you another product review. I'm sure you must have heard of the Colorpop Cosmetics brand...how can't you? They broke the internet!

It was Colourpop this...... Colourpop that....Swatches and reviews everywhere!

So i finally decided to buy one and see for myself . Out of all the ones i saw that were available HERE , i settled on the shade called 'Moonshine'.

I used it to create my last look, so it's time to tell you how i feel about the product.

First off, i love the packaging, but what i don't get is why the container is so big when the actual product in the container is only a few millimeters deep. You would hit the bottom of the pan quicker than the container makes you think you would.

My favourite looks at the AMVCA 2016.

Hello ladies..

So the AMVCA (African Magic Viewers Choice Awards) 2016 held yesterday, and i tuned in to watch the show. I missed out on a little bit of the red carpet appearances and interviews though, but i watched the rest till the very end.

I loved the fact that there were some people who dressed in traditional attires .... I especially loved Blossom Chukwujekwu´s ensemble.

Anyway, this post is about my favourite looks of the show, so here they are in no particular order.....well, after Linda Ejiofor, the rest are in no particular order....

Linda Ejiofor was the first person i saw when i tuned in. This lady is too gorgeous for words  biko!!
Her makeup was done by Leylar Cadne. I love the fact that her makeup was kept clean and her hair was packed in a ponytail. She looked like a breath of fresh air!

B 'n D Makeover | Moonshine

Hey babes...

I bought a Colorpop Cosmetics eye shadow a couple of weeks ago...... got the shade in 'Moonshine', and yesterday i used it to create a look.

Oh, and by the way, you remember my plans to wear makeup more often this year? Yeah, that's no longer happening. Have you felt the heat??? It's horrible! There's no way i'm wearing makeup *especially foundation* for long hours in this eeeeew-ish weather. I'm just going to wait till my favourite season comes along....yup, i love the rainy season.

So i created the look after i came home from my fuel hunt..... i spent 3 hours on the queue, and they didn't even fill my tank!! They said they were only selling a maximum of N3,000 to all cars. I had to plead before they agreed to sell an extra N1,000 to me......plead on top of my own money again? It's well!

Behold, the 'Moonshine' look........

Oh, i'm wearing the L.O.G Cosmetics lipstick in 'Bare' I reviewed it in my last post. Like i mentioned, it looks weird on my lips if i don't use a lip liner, so i lined it with Zaron lip liner in 'Vivid'.
