PRODUCT REVIEW | Zaron Volumizing Mascara in ´Black Lash´.

I only use mascara on the days when i don't feel like wearing false lashes, and such days are far and in between.

The last mascara i used was the Maybelline Colossal was great, but i had a problem with the wand, it was too big. However, this post is not about the Maybelline mascara.

So the Zaron Volumizing Mascara in 'Black lash' was in the huge care package i received from Zaron Cosmetics months ago. Prior to that, i had never used it and i had only read one review about it. I had planned to buy one, but apparently God had other plans *Huge grin*.

I have used it enough to have an opinion about it, so here goes....

The Zaron volumizing Mascara in 'Black lash' is really black and the formular has a normal consistency.....not too thick, not too watery either.

One thing i noticed about the product is that it lenghtened my lashes more than it added volume to it. It is a volumizing mascara...yes, and it added a little volume to my lashes, but it added more length than volume to them *i'm sure you understand*.

Remember that problem i said that i had with the Maybelline Colossal Mascara? Yup, i had the same problem here as well. However, the Zaron Volumizing Mascara wand is slightly smaller and it is shaped differently from the Colossal mascara wand.

The shape was designed to get into short lashes, but i'm afraid it doesn't really do that so well. My lashes are not short and unruly...they are not long and sleek either. They are just of average length, so the wand gets into my lashes very well and combs them out perfectly. Basically, i don't have a problem with the product.

However, i have used the mascara on models with short lashes and other than add a tiny little bit of volume, it didn't do anything dramatic for their lashes. Oh, and when i say short lashes, i mean really short and unruly know those kind of lashes that need deliverance....yup, those ones.

So all i'm saying is that the Zaron Volumizing Mascara in 'Black lash' is perfect for normal lashes. As long as there is a considerable amount of lashes there for it to work with, it would do a wonderful job.

I usually apply 3 coats on each eye for best results. One coat is cool , but since i'm so used to applying falsies, i can't do without dramatic eyes. So on the days i don't wear any falsies, i just have to apply enough mascara coats to create the drama i need on my eyes.....if not, my eyes just feel naked *looool!*.
