I've been so excited about them, but i had to wait for the right time to use them....and of course, i had to come here and tell you guys what i think of it *even though it's been months since i last blogged....can we please pretend that i've been here all along? pretty plsssss!*.
So i finally got to use the products yesterday, and right now, i want to let you know what i think of the liquid concealers first.
The liquid concealers come in slim tubes and they have 3 shades....The 'Light', 'Medium' and 'Deep'. I only used the shade in 'Medium' yesterday because that's the one that is a shade lighter than i am.
The applicator wand doesn't have a doe-foot like most of us are used to, rather it has a small brush for applying the concealer. The picture below is what it looks like.
Now, the first thing i noticed about the concealer asides from the smell is how light it is....it is actually lighter than the L.A Girl concealer. The product applies lightly and blends out really easily as well. I blended mine out using a beauty blender sponge, and i don't know if it will blend out differently if a brush is used *i will try that the next time*.
About the smell, it has a sweet smell that reminds me of a nice body lotion. It's not bad at all, and it's not overwhelming either. I really don't think that anyone will have a problem with it.
However, one thing i'm not really comfortable with is the fact that it dries out pretty quickly....maybe because of how light it is. When using it, you have to use a damp sponge and also try as much as you can to blend it out quickly to prevent it from drying out on you and thus making it harder to blend.
Below are quick swatches of the 3 shades on my hand ......
